CSCE is a completely separate company operating as the International Sanctions Institute, functioning independently of its founding law firms and the private practices of its board members. Its impartiality is strictly maintained by an independent Quality Board of global experts, ensuring that the certification process remains objective and free from conflicts of interest.
It is an independent, privately issued certification. It was developed in active dialogue with EU and national public bodies, while no client data is shared with any authority. The report stays entirely with you – it is your decision whether to share it with a regulator or business partner.
We assess each legal entity individually. Timing depends on how quickly the participating entity engages with us and on the complexity of its operations – but the process is designed to reach a result fast, without unnecessary delay.
It is not a guarantee. It is a concrete step toward meeting the minimum standard of due diligence expected under EU law, built on the KYOC principle – Know Your Own Company. Any gaps or shortcomings we identify are then addressed by you directly, or together with CSCE’s partners, depending on your preference.
